This workshop is designed to support Work Health and Safety (WHS) hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control. It builds on key principles and processes to help you apply these concepts in your workplace. 

The content is structured into three main sections: Risk Management Principles, HIRAC Processes, and SWMS Processes. Each section includes explanations, examples, key takeaways, and activities to reinforce your understanding.

Course Outcomes:

At the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Participate in WHS hazard identification in the workplace.
  • Participate in WHS risk assessment.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing WHS control measures.
  • Contribute to consultative arrangements for hazard identification and risk assessment activities.
  • Contribute to consultative arrangements for implementing control measures.
