Why Heat Stress Matters
Heat stress can lead to serious health issues such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke. It affects
productivity and safety in the workplace.
Symptoms of Heat Stress
Early signs include fatigue, dizziness, and excessive sweating. Severe symptoms include confusion,
fainting, and lack of sweating.
Prevention Tips
• Stay hydrated • Take regular breaks in shaded areas • Wear lightweight, breathable clothing • Monitor
environmental conditions
Emergency Response
If someone shows signs of heat stroke, call emergency services immediately. Move the person to a
cool area and apply cooling measures.
