Covers: 

  • Iidentifying the need for analgesia
  • Accessing, preparing and administering restricted pain relief.
  • Methoxyflurane (commonly referred to as the "green whistle") and Entonox
  • Complying with medically endorsed protocols
  • Performing casualty handovers
  • Completing a Drug Register for analgesic use.

This workshop has been designed to provide information  for candidates that hold PUAEME008 - Provide pain management. It is a non accredited workshop to asssit in maintaing skills.

This certificate does not require renewal

No asessment of workshop activities, however must be able to deliver Pain relief as per course guidelines of PUAEME008 - Provide pain management
